As an educator, I am interested in facilitating brave and curious spaces that activate personal artistry and the intimate and intersectional understanding of individual and collective humanity. I actively work to create abolitionist, trauma-informed, and consent-based educational spaces that cultivate self-inquiry and discovery. Through theatre, I teach students to chase their curiosity, rigorously investigate the diversity of human experience, fail fantastically, and learn through empathy.

“It was Andy who taught me that theatre could be an exercise in empathy, and who first talked to me about acting as a meaningful craft that was more than just an after-school activity.”
“Andy has a unique gift of working with people. He is a great communicator and his skills as an actor, and as a director have enabled him to connect with my students and work with them on a much higher level. ”
“He listens to every voice in the room and has an excellent ability to draw the best out of students, allowing for mutual ownership of and pride in the work.”
